Join us for the 50th Annual Lumberjack Jaunt brought to you by the Brainerd Nordic Ski Club.
This year's event will take on a different format but still be held on March 8, 2025.
Snow conditions at the Arboretum have unfortunately deteriorated where timed ski race will not be possible. Therefore the Brainerd Nordic Ski Club has decided to not have a timed event for this year’s Lumberjack Jaunt, but activities will still be held on Saturday, March 8th to celebrate 50 years of the Lumberjack Jaunt. Planned activities include a group ski of the trails with remaining good snow, an introduction to the sport of orienteering with a short orienteering course available, and a group hike, followed by refreshments and prizes.
Registration Information
$30 ($20-18 and under) through March 6th
Race Day $35 ($25-18 and under)
Schedule of events:
11:00 Check-in at Arboretum.
11:15 Orienteering instruction and short course available to run/hike.
12:00 Ski and Hike. Access to snow will require some walking.
1:00 Light meal and prizes.
Come share memories of 50 years of the Lumberjack Jaunt. Lumberjack or vintage ski apparel is encouraged.
